For nearly six months now i have been unable to walk or stand, and i was back and forth to different hospitals not knowing what was going on. It was driving me mad inside! Finally i got to the right guy at the right hospital, and we started getting some answers as to what was going on. I started physio at my local hospital and was doing okay with it, but i wasn't really seeing any improvements and things looked as if they were just getting worse.
I was going to physio and doing everything i had to, coming home and doing all the exercises i had been given, but nothing was changing. Things were just getting worse and not better, and i was just getting to the stage where i was thinking well whats the point in doing this physio?! Why keep doing this if it's not changing, and if things are just gonna get worse! For five months i wasn't seeing any improvement at all, and my right foot had started to turn in when i was trying to walk. That made it a lot harder to try and walk then, as i would trip over my foot a lot.
But then finally at my most recent physio session my physio said that he had could see a small improvement with the tremors in my legs. Finally after nearly six months i was gain some of that control back, and there was something good to look on, we was going in the right direction now. I know i still have a long road ahead of me and it is going to take a lot longer for me to be back on my feet properly, but at least i can now see that all this hard work and determination, slowly is starting to pay off. It is all a step in the right direction, and on the road to recovery.
