Everyone has tough times in life, some have times where it gets tougher than others and you find yourself hitting rock bottom.
But when you find yourself reaching this point just remember not to go through it alone! These times are when you need people around you, whether that is family, friends or even both.
I’ve hit a lot of tough times in my life and I have also hit rock bottom a few times, and thought how am I still going!? I have had family there when I’ve had these times but I defiantly couldn’t have done it without my friends. My friends mean everything to me and they are always there when I need them.
I have a few really great friends who I don’t think I could live without! I don’t need to say names because they know who they are, and they are truly amazing and there no matter what!
We always have great times with laughs and fun times, but we also have a few good deep chats once in a while. Yes these chats get very deep at times and we have a good rant about what is bothering us, but then we will always find a way to change the mood and we will be in fits of laughter in no time.
That’s what I love about friends because you don’t have to see them regularly but they are always there for you, even if it’s just at the other end of the phone. You can let everything out to them but they know how to cheer you up and put that smile back on your face. I also find that it’s in these times that you find out who your true friends are, and you see who is actually there for you in times of need.
I know when you hit rock bottom you just feel like what is the point!? You feel like you just can’t take much more! I can say I have had this feeling too!
This is where you need those people and people you trust and feel comfortable to talk to, so talk to them and let it out because otherwise it will just eat you up inside.
A problem shared is a problem halved!! What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!!
Like I said in my last post that I suffer with anxiety, and I noticed that when I bottle everything up and don’t let it out this then makes my anxiety worse, and I end up having more panic attacks.
I know it can be hard talking to people sometimes, and I always worry about bothering people. Because I worry about bothering people with my problems and I’m one of those people more concerned about others, and how they feel rather than about me.
I therefore bottle everything up and don’t often let it out and I know it doesn’t do me any good doing that, but I am getting better at this and I’m starting to talk to people and telling them how I really feel. It does help me when I talk to them and I know I should do it more, it’s just getting to the point of telling someone which is hard.
But the people who care about you are willing to be there when you need them, to listen and want to help.
So don’t do it alone and remember to talk to people, and say how you are really feeling. Also remember when you reach that rock bottom and think to yourself ‘what is the point?’ Don’t give up!
Keep going because like everyone says to me when I’m down, it will get better and there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Keep fighting because you are not alone in this and you can do it! Remember to keep smiling, and have hope!
